Bag Up Manitoba Challenge

Park bench made from recycled plastic bags
Our school is once again taking part in the Bag Up Manitoba challenge during October.Through this program children not only take an active part in keeping their community clean, but also learn about reusing, reducing and recycling in a fun and meaningful way.
We'd really appreciate your support in this endeavour, if you're close enough to do so, of course.

We all have plastic bags around, and sometimes so many, we wonder what to do with them all. Here's a green solution: Please consider donating them to our school and we'll make sure to get them shipped to a place where they will be recycled into frisbees, park benches and many other items.

We've taken part in this event for two years and each time, with the help of family and friends and people we don't even know, have won 50 frisbees and a park bench for our school. We're looking to three-peat and would love to have you on our team. If you have plastic shopping bags or any other type of plastic bag, (as long as they're clean) please send them our way. If you want us to pick them up, we'd gladly do so, just let us know by clicking on the 'contact me' botton or by leaving a comment.

Thank you for your support!

  1. I'm down in Missouri so I can't help. Wish I could ~ sounds like a good cause, with some fun built in. That's a cute bench!
